Breve descrição: Mobile devices are ubiquitous and a central part of everyday’s life. This ubiquity led Banks and Financing Institutions to start thinking of mobile-ways of money transfers between their clients and convenience-channels for dematerialized payments, taking advantage of the capabilities of such devices, aligned with the growth in popularity and standardization of the Near Field Communication technology. However, these mobile solutions are prone to be exploited if there are malicious agents that are able to compromise the mobile operating systems, such as Android, IOS or MS Windows mobile. This thesis theme aims to deliver a secure solution for those applications by leveraging the benefits of ARM TrustZone for the storage of dematerialized \\\"debit/credit cards\\\" and for a trustable execution of critical transactions in such applications or other mobile payment or cryptocurrency management wallets.
Observações: The dissertation will be focused on the use of Arm Trust Zone Technology , as it will be enabled in the next generation of ARM-based Smartphones or Tablets, with flexibility of the application context that all be targeted in the dissertation.
