Breve descrição: OutSystems is being used more and more by large teams that collaborate on enterprise grade projects. This results in new challenges when it comes to ensuring the quality of the applications built with the platform, without sacrificing productivity. An increasingly common way to improve quality is performing distributed lightweight tool supported code reviews. A code review consists of an analysis of changes made to the code by one or more third-party team members. The objective of this is to ensure that the changes do not break anything, do not introduce bugs and adhere to the established coding best practices. Code reviews are often done with the help of a tool that makes tracking changes and reviews easier. However, the current tools and processes for code review are focused on textual programming languages and not visual ones. The goal of this dissertation is to define and prototype a process and/or tool for code reviewing visual languages.
Observações: OutSystems supports the MSc student with a monthly financial scholarship.
The work should be partially delivered and conducted in OutSystems’ premises (Linda-a-Velha).
