This framework was well received by the community, not only because of its theoretical characteristics, but also because of the promise for a debate tool that would be most welcome. Together with the framework, we also developed very efficient algorithms [Correia et al. 2014], which essentially provided us with the tools to develop an existing prototype, SWARG. The goal of this dissertation is to further develop SWARG. It is a multidisciplinary thesis within the areas of Decision Support and AI, Multimedia, and Computer Systems.
