Breve descrição: Wireless and Mobile networks, due to their characteristics, pose significant challenges to the task of achieving tight coordination among end-nodes, for example in the context of edge or fog computing environments (ex., Internet of Things). The failures or attacks of some nodes and momentary breakdown of communications, either of accidental or
malicious nature, should not result in the failure of such systems. In this thesis propose to study the problem of asynchronous Byzantine consensus
protocols in the context of mobile computing, particularly focusing on resource-constrained wireless ad hoc networks and devices.
The idea is to propose a base solution to tolerate dynamic message omissions, allowing for the efficient utilization of the wireless communication medium in 3G/4G internetworks. We must find a flexible solution that must optimize the tradeoff of computationally expensive public-key cryptography during its normal operation and the communication cost
