Mobile devices are ubiquitous and a central part of everyday’s life. This ubiquity led Banks and Financing Institutions to start thinking of mobile-ways of money transfers between their clients and convenience-channels for dematerialized payments, taking advantage of the capabilities of such devices, aligned with the growth in popularity and standardization of the Near Field Communication technology. However, these mobile solutions are prone to be exploited if there are malicious agents that are able to compromise the mobile operating systems, such as Android, IOS or MS Windows mobile. This thesis theme aims to deliver a secure solution for those applications by leveraging the benefits of ARM TrustZone for the storage of dematerialized \"debit/credit cards\" and for a trustable execution of critical transactions in such applications, protected from a rich OS that can’t be trusted. |
