The map will serve as the structural foundation for integrating several geo-referenced datasets, developed at the University of Évora (an Auditory Atlas of the City). These geographic datasets will include: a) Iconography of the City of Évora including visual and auditory representations (photos, drawings, sounds, music) associated with geographic relevant locations and their influence). Music may be represented by sound files or by handwritten or printed scores; b) Routes and paths for thematically travelling across the town and visiting chosen sets of objects in a); c) Places of musical influence within the town which may include locations but also diffused areas of thematic musical influence.
